Touchstone Worktops manufacture and supply bespoke quartz, marble and granite worktops to both commercial and domestic clients. They wanted an updated site which was more aligned to their target market.
Refining the Sales Process
Through discussions with the client we identified that the main issue with the existing Touchstone site was customers using them to get samples before moving to another company for the bulk of the work. To counter this I decided it was important to validate the customers’ intention before completing the sample process.
Previously the site encouraged the user to order a sample; I decided to change the tone of the website so peope felt more inclined to contact the experts at Touchstone instead. By speaking to their end users early on in the sales process, they could become more invested and therefore more likely to use Touchstone for the duration of their project.
A clean serif font aligns Touchstone more closely with their desired market.
